Q1) Who is eligible to learn Chinese Calligraphy?

Anyone that is between the age of 4 to 75 and has an interest for Chinese Calligraphy.

Q2) What should I wear when writing Chinese Calligraphy?

Comfortable clothes should be worn. Avoid wearing tight fitting tops or bottoms as this may restrict movement on your arms, hence causing unneccessary strain on your shoulders and spine. Do avoid white-coloured clothes as well, as the black ink that is used to write causes permanent stains.

Q3) What are the course fees and are the material fees included in the course fees?

The course fees varies from factors like age and course duration etc. Do contact us for a non-obligation discussion. The material fees are excluded in the course fees. Material fees are priced at S$50.00 per set, where you will be given writing paper, ink, writing brush, ink slab and a paperweight. Some practising worksheets would be provided as well.

Q4) How long is the duration of each class?

2 hours each session.

Q5) How will I know if I can move on the intermediate level of Chinese Calligraphy after completing elementary?

This level will be determined by the teacher from time to time.

Q6) Do you have one-to-one sessions? How about some special requests due to some students having difficulty moving around?

Q8) What happens if I miss a class? Can I attend any make up lesson for it?

We believe that unforeseen circumstances sometimes inevitably happen. As such, as long as you inform the trainer in advance, you will able to attend the missed class another day.
